A 31-acre parcel off of Hunt Valley’s busy York Road corridor is poised to be transformed into the area’s latest senior community.
The Heights at Hunt Valley will break ground by late fall and ultimately bring 52 homes and a 158,000-square-foot assisted living center to the now-vacant site. The property is located at 180 Sparks Valley Road near Hunt Valley Towne Centre and the corporate headquarters for Kelly Benefits Strategies.
The emerging age-restricted community is designed for residents age 55 and older with villa-style homes that will hit the market in about a year and list for an estimated $800,000 to $1 million, said David Gildea principal of Bushrod Investments, a Towson firm that is is funding the project in a partnership with Birchwood Capital Partners.
